As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing an exceptional experience to our valued clients while contributing to the growth of our gallery.

Position: Sales Associate

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Salary: $18 per hour + 5% commission

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients, both in-person and over the phone, to provide expert guidance and assistance in art selection.
• Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with customers to ensure a personalized and memorable gallery experience.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and coordination.
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry, inventory management, and customer records.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to effectively communicate the uniqueness and value of our artworks.
• Embrace a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate our clients' needs.
• Assisting with merchandising and displays of artwork
• Managing stock levels, completing inventory and assisting in order placement as necessary
• Maintain appealing and clean visual displays

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Business casual dress code to represent our gallery's professionalism and style.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred but not mandatory.
• A genuine passion for art and an eagerness to learn and grow within the art industry.
• Exceptional communication skills to connect with diverse clientele effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
