Social Creative Designer
The Social Creative Designer will work to conceptualize and design social creative elements ranging from display ads, animated graphics, to video. The designer must have experience designing advertising elements for both social media platforms and more standard display channels. Additional work to build out creative visions for white glove accounts and RFP’s will also fall under this role. Being comfortable sharing a creative vision with clients in meetings and sales pitches will be expected in this role.
What you will do:
Duties and Responsibilities, work schedules and/or location may change based on evolving business needs.
- Work directly with customers, both in person and remotely, to fully understand their needs and objectives.
- Create digital design solutions that meet clients’ needs and objectives.
- Work collaboratively to design and present RFP’s.
- Present polished creative solutions to clients and sales people and promote their value in meeting the stated goals.
- Coordinate with sales people and ad ops to develop creative timeline and deliverables to support the success of the overall campaign.
- Maintain strict adherence to established deadlines and turn around times.
- Cultivate and maintain collaborative, productive relationships withdesign colleagues, local media group staff and advertising clients.
What you will need:
- Bachelors of Fine Arts or equivalent education and experience.
- One to two years’ related advertising design experience, preferably in an advertising agency environment.
- Demonstrates foundational knowledge of advertising sales strategy and current digital display creative products.
- Proficient with multiple design types including, social media, digital display, email, web.
- Works collaboratively and creatively with others to solve problems and deliver superior customer service.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel and Word required.
- Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and InDesign proficiency required; Animate and Premier experience preferred).
- Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere.
- Experience with HTML5 platforms and WordPress preferred.
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills with experience presenting and promoting designs and solutions to stakeholders (including sales reps, clients, etc.).
- Ability to recommend effective creative strategy and produce high quality comprehensive creative designs in a timely manner that supports the overall campaign goals.
- Ability to communicate directly, and as part of a team, with clients to assess and understand marketing needs at both a broad campaign level and with specific attention to creative needs.
- Ability to quickly learn and use new technology, including web-based applications.
